When using a doctor or other professional to control anxiety, you are usually asked about the some of the following areas of your life to know what led the attack: Environmental, Family, Personality, any traumas from your past and drug use.
If you do not have a specific problem in one of these areas, your GP may examine any of the following alternatives. Chronic fatigue, obstructive lung disease, headaches, sleep Apnoea, thyroid and possible adrenal problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, severe headaches, ulcers, possible heart disease, drug and alcohol abuse, epilepsy, This could lead to unmanageable stress and resultant panic and anxiety attacks..
Your own personality should also be taken into account. Low confidence in one’s self may be one reason that causes negative self talk, causing an imbalance for vulnerable patients in their brain chemistry imbalance in hormones and feel good hormones, which are the product of stress.
Traumatic events in the past, may be of concern, including abuse in childhood.
In some environments you may live under constant stress. For example, it may be a lack of money, broken homes and dangerous neighbourhoods. Substance abuse within your family can cause psychiatric disorders also, although this is less common.
Healthy living with the treatment of professionals brings positive results for you. In any case, you should have a positive attitude.
You can change your lifestyle if he or she is responsible for the prevention of serious concern. The reason is that anxiety attacks are often associated with an unhealthy lifestyle. Exercising regularly and drinking water and enough sleep is essential for a healthy lifestyle and treatment of anxiety in a moment.
Always begin by meeting a health professional (Doctor, Hypnotherapist etc)
It's actually your own pace that you are recovering at, so if you can get a few steps forward in your recovery then that is great, if possible, but if it is difficult to clarify and confirm that this recovery will continue at the same pace. Expect the occasional backward step. Try to look at everything from a different perspective. It is possible that your key to contentment is to stay balanced and grounded.
Being surrounded by people who have your best interests at heart, your friends and family, is also a good thing. There is also support to be found among strangers who have the same problem as you. So look for local support.
Anxiety can seem all encompassing, but it is possible and often rapidly so, to overcome this common problem. Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy have proven to be fantastic in the treatment of anxiety and stress disorders.
